PUBLIC EVENTS – Nico Zaramella

This page is dedicated to public events. It means that everytime I’ll have a conference, slideshow, exhibition or something like these you’ll find it here a few weeks before (if I can). In the last few years I join many times public meetings and everytime it was a big opportunity to exchange different point of view. Sometimes it happens that discussion became a real teamwork on photographic technical data or related to travel problems till ethics on planet and wildlife preservation and everytime I had something more in my growth as a photographer and ecologist. So I like a lot to meet people and discuss about photoprahy, ethology ecc. but, above all, I believe in energy of communication that’s the real wildlife photographer mission (and not only to join competition). So in more recent time I’m working on educational enterprise ad I love to connect multimedia to reach more people it’s possible.

So it is impossible to recall every past event. But I love to remember one really big happening during last december great Christmas Summertime Choir concert. It was a big event with a lot of international and famous singers coming from all over the world and many thousands people in Paduan Kioene Arena. I made some set design with my pictures slideshows and the incredible performance of Andrea Faustini (UK X Factor) during a touching remake of Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song” in a “waterfall” of penguins, bears and landscape pictures became a real prayer for Planet care and salvation. I’ll never foget it. So now we are working for the next multimedia live mode able to moving people towards nature preservation.

Sometimes I’m not so happy of my pictures. It happens also when I take really a beautiful photograph: good subject and theme, great colors, perfect structure. For a lot of time I ask myself “why you don’t like it ?”. I think everyone possesses a special inner “mine” with lost experiences, memories, pains, happiness, satisfaction, failure, disappointment, love, hate and something else inside it. I think also that anything outside get into my soul and in my mind as an “insight”. Only when reality insight meet my special “mine” I can make a good picture. Nico Zaramella.
